Keith A. Long, Owner/Founder
Keith was born and raised in Ohio. At the age of 18, he entered the Armed Forces and served in Europe for several years which included military intelligence assignments. Upon returning to the United States he began a career in sales and recruiting and eventually relocated to St. Louis, MO.
While in the Army, Keith was able to take classes at the University of Maryland (where he learned German) and the University of Washington, but it was a class that he completed through Dale Carnegie that helped shape his outlook on business. Since then he has been a top producer at a national recruitment firm and has started two multi-million dollar companies. He used a blue-collar approach in his work ethic and a meticulous approach in his sales skills to train his employees and build his clientele.
Today, Keith still makes the major decisions that affect our company and is in the office every day training the staff on the same sales techniques that have made him successful for over 50 years.
“I’ve always maintained that if you speak to the interest of your clients, you will not be wasting anyone’s time.”
In his spare time, Keith and Emily, his wife of 43 years and a local artist, attend plays and art exhibitions. They have served on numerous boards for non-profits and donated a library wing to the Boys and Girls Club in Columbus, OH that is still in use today. He has developed an obsession for Mizzou athletics and Cardinals baseball. Having not given up on his early passions, he still travels to Europe twice a year to visit past neighborhoods and maintains an avid golf interest while belonging to country clubs both locally and in Scotland.
